Connecting to RCON
RCONThis demo will show how to connect to your server's RCON and issue simple commands. Below are some of the RCON commands available:
Note: All RCON commands must begin with "rcon_command"
- ban - Bans a player (for ban_timeout minutes) from server.
Example: ban <Player Name> - ban_remove - Removes player from ban list.
Example: ban_remove <Player Name> - ban_status - Shows currently banned players.
- ban_timeout - Shows ban timeout (in minutes).
- net_next_map - Notifies clients on server about the next map.
- kick - Kicks player from the server.
Example: kick <Player Name> - kickid - Kicks player via ID from the server.
Example: kickid <Player ID> - status - Shows current status of server.
Performing a Trace Route

This demo will show how to open a command prompt on your computer to perform a trace route to your game or voice server, and then copy the results for later use.
